Accepted Browser Engine Bugs
Chromium Fetch Timeout Error Type Bug
Identified and reported a Chromium implementation bug where fetch requests aborted using AbortSignal.timeout() incorrectly rejected with a generic AbortError instead of the standard TimeoutError expected for timeout-triggered cancellations. Reproduced the behavior, documented the discrepancy, and verified it against the web platform specification.
Reported to the Chromium project through Issue #40263649, where the behavior was reviewed by Chromium engineers and tracked as an implementation issue.
Firefox Gecko Date Input Change Event Bug
Identified and reported a Firefox Gecko DOM event handling bug where programmatically modifying the value of a date input within a change event handler incorrectly triggered an additional change event. Reproduced the behavior, documented the issue, and verified that the behavior was inconsistent with the HTML specification.
Reported to Mozilla through Bugzilla (Bug #1881419), where the issue was investigated and addressed in Firefox Gecko’s event handling implementation.
